Update: I text messaged my sister, who is with my parents, in the Philippines yesterday. Since my dad was too fragile to undergo a triple bypass they ended up giving him an angioplasty. They were able to unblock and open up one of three blood vessels (the other two were too small an may have been damaged). He is currently in the ICU for the next 4 days or so. Doctors said he should be able to breathe better; my sister said she and my mother have been going through some pretty tense times. Hopefully things will be ok.
This is just a quick update. I’m sitting at my desk making sigs for some people that I know and in the background Angela is watching ‘Gilmore Girls’ on television. I can hear the monotonous drone of that horrible Alexis Bledl, some crap ass rendition of Harijuku Girls and some young child screaming at the top of her lungs.
It is taking all of the power within me not to walk over to the tool box and pull out my 3 pound ballpeen hammer and smash the television.
